Clare! That is absolutely amazing!!! I have 45 posts in my feed reader and didn’t intend to read it all tonight, but I happened to be passing by Michael’s computer and he happened to be on your page and I had to stop and say, “WOW!” I think we will all run out of superlatives before we’re done commenting. Congrats!!!
Thank you very much all.
Pete you know how envious I am of your photos. If I could be that consistent I’d be very happy.
We’ll see how it does at Canadian Geographic’s photo contest before we try NG, Morena.
I’d like to be able to paint like that Wanda.
I keep threatening to have some note cards made Indigo. Now where are those 36 hour days.
I’m running out of things to add, apart from thanks.
Its a thirty second exposure of the moon Nancy, taken in Victor Bay, looking back at King George (the mountain on the right). It was not quite dark yet.
Part of the coolness is it was very windy, and wavy, and with the long exposure the shore is blurred.
It would look pretty cool on a wall.
Thanks Fawn. Sounds like a great weekend on the boat.
Oh well, it’s a picture, right? I mean, it’s good and all but really …
Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!
Geez, Clare! Of course I agree with the 15+ commenters above: stunning capture for sure! Your landscape photography skillz have evolved remarkably in the last few months. It’ll be interesting to see where your journey takes you, so keep sharing.

National Geographic worthy for sure. Beautiful!
It makes me feel as if I am looking into a painting- absolutely gorgeous!!
This would make a most excellent postcard – just in case you do not have enough projects on the go already

I have to agree – beautiful!
Is that a long-exposure moon? Where’s it taken from? It’s beautiful!

Thanks Jochen. I am lucky because I have such stunning landscape to photograph.
No, it’s not the landscape, Clare, it’s the photographer’s eye.
You’re too kind Jochen
