That’s really neat! I thought sundogs only happen on the coldest and clearest of days? Well, it didn’t look quite like the winter sundog. Still really cool though!

I suspect, Melodie, that these sundogs were caused by dust. Normally sundogs are caused by ice crystals and the sun hitting them at the right angel. But what ever the cause, it was clearly a parhelion.
