I will be blogging as I go, provided I can get a connection. I’ve also some newspaper articles I have to write. Thought I was going to have an opportunity to meet with Charlie Moores but we changed our flights and were no longer going through London.

We’re staying open. It’s just me who is going, and I found someone to look after the cooking while I’m gone. Leah isn’t much for traveling and as much as I wanted to take Travis with me, the general consensus was that he was too young. It will be the 100th anniversary for him I guess.
So I take it that the photo for the passport finally got approved and completed! Thought of you today when I saw a sign that said passport photos in 5 minutes!
No Bonnie, still no passport or passport photo. I’ll get my photo the evening I arrive in Ottawa, then stand in line and hope I get issued a priority passport. Otherwise I guess I get to honour Grandpa at the National War Monument.
