The Sun just skimmed below the southern horizon today. A short hike up hill would have afforded a glimpse of it. But tomorrow, clear skies permitting, it will reveal itself after 3 months away. Today it was accompanied by a sundog just above the horizon. It was, unfortunately, gone by the time I got home, did stuff, and grabbed my camera.

Thanks Pete. I didn’t take a photo of King George mountain with the sun creeping down the side each day. That always speaks to me about the suggestion of things to come.
