The community that has built up around Nunavut blogging never ceases to amaze me. One of the most faithful follower of northern blogs is the wonderful Indigo, someone I'd love to meet some day. When you are able to follow her trail through this community (via the constant vigilance of blog comments, facebook and the like) you soon realize that she is a giving person.
To drive that point home she has donated a "Spa in a Bucket" to the Nunies, which is a galvanized bucket filled with all manner of delightful pampering items. I seriously thought it should go to the winner of "Best Organizer of a Nunavut Blog Awards contest" but wasn't sure I could quite pull that off. Instead it will go to the winner of the Best Blog. Yep. I was trying to think of a way to give the prize to a “reader” as opposed to a blogger. But in the end I took the easy route.
I agree, Indigo is one of those fantom-people who has touched so many of my fellow bloggers, that I feel like I know here, even though I don’t think we’ve ever spoken.

Indigo is the best. She has just shipped me another rubbermaid of fur coats to turn into mittens and such. I sure hope she shows up on my doorstep one day so I can return some favours!
