You’re heading into the dark time with snow on the ground which is better than what I have to deal with. Here it’s just black. No snow, bad markers along the roads…
I’m not envious of your life…
YES I am!
Who am I trying to kid???
Enjoy the sun while you have it. It must be so elemental to have the sun simply leave your life for periods of time. I’m sure that it doesn’t really balance it to remember that it comes back and stays unendingly in the summer.
Kia ora Clare,
Beautiful shot, such a poignant and total change. Enjoy what remains.
Cheers,

Do you lose the sun there allmycke? For how long?
It is more than balanced Liza. I really don’t mind the dark season and we do get more light than dark. Even after the sun goes we still get various amounts of twilight with the sun just below the horizon. And we get 24 hour light before we have 24 hour sun.
Thanks Robb, I am enjoying it. Enjoy your summer.
I live just south of the Arctic Circle, so we don’t loose the sun totally. Before the snow arrives it’s just so darned dark!
