If its not a pod of Killer Whales, then its a parade of ships. If not ships then its the full moon over King George.

When will it all end?

Awesome. Thanks for sharing. 🙂
You’re not complaining about the view you have, or…
Clare–I have a question completely unrelated to moons and icebergs and such. Do you have Mertensia maritima (oysterleaf) in your local flora? It’s a bluebell that supposedly grows on beaches in the far north. We’re beginning some work on the evolution of bluebells, and I’m looking for populations of the several species. Thanks!
Thanks Mongoose, you’re welcome.
No allmycke, I hate to admit it but I was gloating, in a facetious manner. Not like me really.
Hi Larry, I’ve not noticed it here. My guide indicates that its common on the Baffin, but says its confined to seashores of the Low Arctic. It may very well be here and I’ve just never noticed.
Clare–thanks for checking on the Mertensia. It apparently grows among the sea wrack if you happen to be walking on beaches.
I’ll keep an eye out for it next season larry.
