Well, the first six bottles of the glue for our flooring arrived this week. We got it on Friday morning, and have now started the flooring on the main floor. Well more than started really. These photos were taken Friday afternoon. They show the hallway and the front entrance way.
On Friday, the hallway, office and entrance way were done, and today our living quarters (living room and hallway) were finished up. All that remains are the dining room, great room and the upstairs hall.
It is a nice looking floor, makes for some messing cutting though. Much of my contribution to the floor has come in the form of transitions between the different floors. They are going to be a little less that ideal, but we couldn’t wait for the iCore transitions, and cancelled them.
So it was a mixed week. We have carpet in four of six bedrooms, more that half the floating floor is done. On the other hand, the electrician never showed again, in fact went to another community. I’m not sure what is more frustrating, the delays in the work, or the lies.
