It’s the last installment of I and the Bird for its first year, and Patrick at the Hawkowl’s Nest has put together a World Cup themed post.
As usual, there are a wealth of excellent posts to choose from. Some that particularily caught my eye were Bill of the Bird’s tale of finally finding his jinx bird; GrrlScientist’s informative post on one of the earliest "Modern" birds, Gansus yumenensis; and Rob Fergus’, of The Birdchaser fame, thoughtful post on his reconciliation of faith and evolution.
Mike at 10,000 Birds, the father of I and the Bird is hosting it’s first annual edition in two weeks. The edition will be it’s first themed edition. Those of you who have previously contributed to I and the Bird are invited to submit post on why you bird, why you blog and/or why you blog about birds. It should be a thought filled edition.
