This will be short, as I've got things I'd rather be doing after being away from my family for a week. Two short items.
First, I thought perhaps it was a fluke that my "breakfast" (muffin, apple sauce, cheese and crackers) was served frozen on my First Air flight south. But no, that is apparently the standard of service they use now, as my "lunch" (sandwich, pudding, crackers and cheese) was also frozen on the way back. The pudding was good frozen. Apparently you have to pay more than $2,400.00 for a flight to get it unthawed.
And secondly, voting for the Canadian Blog Awards starts tomorrow. Incredibly, the House has been nominated for a few awards, as have a number of other northern bloggers. I'll post more later, after I see what exact categories I ended up in. But stop by and check out the nominated blogs starting tomorrow. I've already found a couple of interesting blogs there.
Later, it's family time.

I hate to be picky, but you did get your food “unthawed.”
Aha, no I did not. Unthaw and thaw are synonyms. As are ravel and unravel. There is a proper usage between the two though, depending on if it is an animate or inanimate object doing the thawing/unthawing
