It’s been a struggle to want to write anything on the blog these days and I’m not sure why. Perhaps its the flu that has been lingering. Perhaps its the warm weather that leaves me gazing out of the window instead of the computer screen. Perhaps its a pile of other work that I’m also ignoring.
It is not as though I don’t have anything to write about. I’ve a book review to complete, the weather lends itself to getting out more, heck I’ve got my long ignored "My mum in Australia wants to talk to you" series to complete.
How about a picture? I promise to have something more substantive tomorrow for you.

Gorgeous photo!
I think that one is worth several thousand words. 🙂
I know how you feel – it’s the same here. Bill’s been away a week and every day has merged into the next. We found out a week ago we’re being transferred to PA; I went and bought a house already (the market there is insane!).
While I know I shouldn’t complain to YOU of all people, it’s taking forever for the snow to melt here. Finally today it is above freezing and I can hear water dripping in the eavestrough.
I enjoy all your beautiful photos!
Lovely picture Clare, hope you get your get up and go back soon!
I feel your funk Clare. I’ve just gone through a very similar drought myself due to many of the same circumstances. I found getting back to reading other bloggers helped; as did the lull in the playoff drive.
What’s that song about It’ll be a better day tomorrow?
Think positive.
Thanks Jen
Well I’m not sure about several thousand Rurality. The title alludes to just how far you can see up here. The cliffs in the background form the western edge of Admiralty Inlet. From where I was standing to the cliffs on the right edge of the photo is about fifty kilometres.
Hey Terri, PA eh? Bit of a change from Waskesiu. Hi to Bill for me. We’ll have some snow around until the end of May or so. The ice won’t go out until July.
Thanks Duncan.
Hi gary, my reading of other’s blogs has dropped off so thanks for the suggestion. What playoffs?
Hi Troy, I positively think I’m in a writing funk. Er, maybe that’s not what you meant.
