It is a dark dusk now, while walking to work. Dark enough to see the planets and the brightest stars. I love the light at this time of day, the series of subtle blues and black, the bright pinpoints of light, the landscape still in focus.
It does my heart good to think about planets and light, something other than building, and opening, and money. Too bad it isn’t a longer walk to work.

I can only imagine the view you must have of the skies- so vast and uncluttered. I used to spend alot of time stargazing with my telescope, but living in the woods has its drawbacks when it comes to sky watching.
“Too bad it isn’t a longer walk to work” would be a fine motto. I’ve always tried to live where I could walk to work and find it a reliable pleasure. It’s essential to push all thoughts of work from the walk to focus on the sights and sensations (and never think about money when you are walking to work). Think of the excellent almanac that could be compiled from a few notes written about each day’s walk to work.
Gaze on, wander on….
