    While I was out taking a photo to show the light at noon, at (practically) the Solstice, this team of Huskies began howling, perhaps at the moon peaking over the hills, perhaps at me.  This HDR version is a little "cartoony" but sets the scene.

    Nothing much for you this morning, just this photo of the new, smooth ice on Arctic Bay from yesterday. The tracks through the ice are left from small boats pushing their way through to go hunting.
