A couple of days ago, Hilary and I took advantage of the golden weather for a bit of a drive and some exploring. At Uluksan she quickly locked into a large patch of Dandelions in seed. The huge HUGE iceberg drifting down Adam's sound, coupled with Hilary and Dandelion seeds made an unbeatable photo op. I swear I only took about thirty of them.

Given the differences in our climates, it’s pretty cool to see a plant that thrives in my yard and thrives in yours, too. Beautiful images, too!
Lovely pictures. No wonder you took the chance!
Very cute.
Great series of pictures.
They are pretty ubiquitous Liza, although we don’t see that many of them. I was surprised to learn that these are not introduced but a natural part of the the flora here.
Thanks allmycke, Megan, and larry. I actually made an animated gif with four photos taken in sequence, but I can only seem to view it as an animation in Photoshop or Image Ready. Obviously there is still more of a learning curve to go.
Does your software let you save as an animated gif? That’s what you need. Then it should work.
…oh, and I should add, you should be able to download free software to make animated gifs if you don’t already have that option in your current software. It’s fun!
Oops, just noticed you refered to animated gif’s already in your own comment. Sigh. So much for being knowledgeable, but I am guessing it is something in the saving that is going wrong; if you try in another software it might work. When I worked in graphic design I’d have trouble with things (esp. gifs) not saving properly in some software but doing fine in another.
Thanks Nancy. I’m using an older version of Photoshop CS and ImageReady. The instructions I found are for CS3 and apparently much has changed. I think I need to spend a little more time with it, but thats not happening in the short term. I’ll just have to live without gifs for awhile. I am wondering if it is my blogging platform and not my gif.
