I like that list–and doubling in a week! The Horned Lark surprised me–then I checked the range map in Sibley’s. That bird breeds everywhere except a band across the middle of Canada–strange.
Sounds like you’ve been having a relatively bird-rich month up there way-north-of-the-rest-of-us. Incidentally, I haven’t seen three of those species this year – so, not that it’s important, but I haven’t seen 50% of your year list! Hmm…
