Isn’t he a stunner? I so love all corvids – they are just great. I had a great laugh with feeding some crows leftover sushi, it was so funny to see them trying to wipe the rice off their beaks and then sitting down on a car opposite me as if to say ‘Well, where’s the next course?’
Thanks Liza, we probably win the record (along with Dave in Anchorage) for the most posts about Ravens.
That’s great Fiona-Jane. I’m a big fan of corvidae also. The brains of the bird world. Your Hooded Crows are stunning birds. Did you give the Crows some dessert?
Beautiful! We have had Ravens in the summer nesting in our woods but they never get close enough for me to grab a photo. This is a nice one. Have you read Bernd Heinrich’s books about Ravens? Their quite good. Cheers.

And yes – nice shot!
Thanks Dave.
I’ll send some over there for you allmycke.
Clare — that photo is breathtaking. WOW! And, I completely agree with the sentiment.

Thanks kat. I have read most of his books. I’ve just got his latest book The Snoring Bird, courtesy of my sister.
