Leah used to spend part of her summers camping with her grandparents on the beach near this waterfall. This is a bit of an unconventional composition for me, but it seems to work.

I think the broad foreground helps make the overall photo more dramatic. It might make the height of the waterfall more obvious, even though it’s in the distance.
Thanks John, normally I’d have the waterfall off to a side, following the rule of thirds. To me though it just didn’t work as well as the centre composed shot.
