I’ll leave the zombie stories to Townie Bastard, this story is about a bear attack. It was just such a great headline, and the fellow tells the story of his attack with such aplomb that I couldn’t resist the post.

Kia ora Clare,
Great story, that guy was a pretty cool customer. We don’t have to worry about such encounters here in New Zealand.

Robb,
He certainly was cool about it, which often means the difference between life and death. Although it seems strange, he’s lucky it was a Grizzly, which generally attack because they’re startled, or to defend food etc. A black bear or a polar bear would have eaten his brain.
Hey Clare,
I’ve got a comment, well really a question, on a different topic than this post. It has to do with your side bar list of the last 5 tunes you’ve listened to. I am curious to learn if you have to change the list manually or if there is something in typepad that helps you (read makes this really easy)? Just curious.
Hi Gary,
It’s done manually through what they call their “typelists”. They have one for music. When I change the list I delete the previous five and add the info, typepad searches and finds the album covers though. Sometimes it can’t find them so lately I search first and then add the album.
