Am I ever glad that summer season has drawn to a close. It seemed like it would go on forever.

Our summer has barely started… and already I have had enough of it.
I know — that heat just gets old, doesn’t it?
Haha Clare! We have been feeling the pain here too. My system is all messed up, I feel ready for Halloween and Christmas, like the summer has already come and gone.
LOL – Great to see snow! (I miss it!!) It’s a hot and humid +33 here in Ottawa today.
Kia ora Clare,
Here in the southern hemisphere I took my 5 year old son on his first mountain walk yesterday. We could see in the near distance the winter ice and snow covered volcanoes Ruapehu, Ngarahoe, and Tongariro glistening away. Sort of in kilter with your photo. Kia ora.
Ka kite ano,

The seasons as we once knew them have become quite unreliable, haven’t they? Today, on the northern California coast the temps were a brisk 10.6c. Brrrr. I don’t know whether to wave hello or good bye to summer.
Thanks all.
