The good folks at Environment Canada in Edmonton keep in touch with me from time to time about weather related issues. Sometime back, when I first received a call from them asking what the weather was like here I jokingly blogged that I thought it was more scientific than that. But kidding aside, they are dedicated to getting as much information as they can to keep us informed about the weather.
To that end, here is an email from one of them seeking any weather tidbits from northern bloggers.
Hi
I’m not a blogger but….
My name is Ron Goodson, and I work for
Environment Canada here in Edmonton. We are *always* on the lookout
for any weather information to supplement our official network –
whether it by real-time or after-the-fact. Words, pictures – doesn’t
matter.
So, I was wondering what are the chances
you can send a note (or just forward this note) to all your Nunavut
bloggers that I’m interested in hearing any weather-tidbits that
anybody has to offer.
I can be reached at:

You know enough to replace the DOT and AT with the real things

So Clare in the same way you may be nuts about birds others have their specialities as well!! Love the chick photos. The ice went out in Rankin on Sat, the 5th.
I’m nuts about birds? But I thought it was a healthy obsession. Nice to see summer arriving in Rankin also Bonnie.
