We are a little less than three weeks away from Winter Solstice, that marks the pause as the Arctic slowly begins tipping towards the sun and light returns to us once again. Our sunrisesets are less spectacular now, but they bring a more subtle beauty to the view outside my window. Here is how noon looks to us these days (darkness is roughly correct.)

Giving lie to the term “high noon!” 🙂 Hang in there . . . the sun will return!
How’s that tan coming? 🙂
Thanks Liza, as much as I will enjoy the return of the sun, I don’t mind the dark season. I love the subtleties of the colours of the sky and the land. And it all passes quickly.
Its coming great Dave. As always I am a whiter shade of pale.
