Just after we turned around on our drive yesterday, the road was drifted quite a bit, with only a lane punched through in spots, I looked down and saw this wave in the snow. In the late afternoon light it was spectacular.

Beautiful!
I love the photos you post on your blog so much! What kind of camera are you using?
Wow … amazing Clare!
Thank you Michael and Kennie.
Thanks FT. I use a digital SLR – a Canon Rebel xti. These were shot with the 18-55 mm lens at varying focal lengths. Although I often crop my photos on Photoshop to tweek the composition these photos weren’t. They did have the light levels adjusted using “auto levels” though. I was off on my bracketing of the exposure. Doing that enhanced the blue and gold of the three closer pictures. Colours in the last photo are the closest to the scene in my mind’s eye.
Sorry its a 28-90 mm lens.
That’s truly stunning. What an amazing find.
Thanks robin andrea.
Amazing pics, Clare, as always!
