You'll have to indulge me a moment as I post some photos of Hilary and Travis. The Hilary photos are from Uluksan Point, Travis' are from Victor Bay.
Picking flowers.
Nothing says "Arctic" like a child in an amautiq, picking Arctic Poppies, with an iceberg in the background. Inuksuit be damned.
She had, moments before, just found out that flies can occasionally be found in poppy blossoms. Loud scream, followed by poppies scattered everywhere, followed by tears, followed by dad carefully picking up the flowers and ensuring no more flies resided therein. A smile from that point on was impossible.
What father's heart wouldn't be warmed by the sight of his son running out to greet him with a huge smile.
Outdoors and on a bike, if it wasn't for being forced to have his picture taken by his father there would be a huge smile on his face.
Some tents at Victor Bay.
Poppies overlooking an old qarmaq and Adam's Sound.

Beautiful pictures. I would love to play with the one of Hilary holding the flower sideways. hehe maybe I still will. 🙂
Great pictures of your children – I sure understand why you want to show them off!
Fantastic! The scenery, the beautiful children, the amazing flowers. Love them — even when they aren’t smiling!
Thanks Tina, would you like me to send you a higher resolution version?
Thanks allmycke.
Thanks Liza, the smiles were hard to come by with a camera pointed at them last night.
Clare- your children are beautiful. I almost can’t understand why you would point your camera anywhere else.

The happiness and joy they bring you are clearly evident. Joy and happiness works both ways. Their cup overfloweth. Way to go, dad.
Dad to the rescue. You got gorgeous kids.
The kids are cute and the poppies are amazing… wish I was there…
Kia ora Clare,
Beautiful vibrant photos. The youthful joy of children is just universal. Thanks for sharing Clare.

Thank you robin. Judging my the number of images on my harddrive of them I apparently do have difficulty not pointing a camera at them.

I love the cute amautik your daughter is wearing in these photos. Lots of loving there!
