The iceberg that has spent the better part of the last year in Arctic Bay has been an unending source of entertainment and photographic inspiration for me. I'm not sure if you've tired of seeing the myriad of images of the same mass of ice over that time, but I have yet to tire of looking at it, and so far, I've yet to tire of taking photos of it.
Back a couple of days ago on Tuesday, before the internet died while I was in the midst of composing this piece, I watched the berg drift by the beach front. It grounded for awhile and these next two photos were taken. It has resumed its journey of drifting around the bay, waiting to make it's escape out into the wider world.
I'm going to miss it.
Hard to beat a photo with King George as the back drop.
And here are some flowers to add to the mix.
