It is pouring here right now, a steady heavy rain that is already muddying up the bay with run off (because of the permafrost all of our precipitation ends up as run off, it is unable to soak into the ground deeper than a few inches). I also saw my first flash of lightening here, and heard my first rumble of thunder in the ten years I've lived here. I'd love to see a good thunderstorm.
Earlier today though it was the fog at play that dominated the weather here. So here are a couple of photos from today. I may have accidentally got the iceberg in a couple of them.

Wow. Terrific! Especially the second one.
Thanks Dave. My favourite of the bunch is the top one, possibly because I can imagine being a mariner and seeing that iceberg resolve itself out of the fog ahead of me.
