One of the nice things about the sun being on the verge of setting for the first time in three months is that the light is wonderous right now. The landscape shimmers and changes with each passing moment. And the skies, from now on take on a quality that is magical.
This is the sky above Arctic Bay right now. The land is a little darker than it is in reality but wow, I've been watching this sky for half an hour and finally could not resist. I could stay and continue to document its changing hues, but it is late and I'd end up awake all night.
