As far as I can tell, Kines is more famous than that Larson guy.
Not in the circles I run in John.
Funny I just stumbled upon this, I am on the Larsen and we are still in Arctic Bay. There were 25 visitors on board today workers from the local school. We were also in to the school to play volleyball with the staff, great time had by all. Really enjoyed meeting the students and staff they were great.
I’m happy you’re enjoying your time in Arctic Bay Jason. Its always nice to see the Henry Larson (and the other CCG ships) in town. I’m missing seeing Capt Klebert from the Louis every year now that he’s retired.
Henry Larson is special to me as I have a number of connections with him. We were, of course, both Mounties in the Arctic. A late friend of mine walked around King William Island with Larson in the 50s, and our boat was commissioned by Larson for the RCMP.
