Due to a couple of disruptions in my schedule, I actually did the Great Backyard Bird Count from my backyard, glassing the parts of town I could see and the dog teams. Without moving I got a decent 73 Ravens, mostly at one team.
After I was done, I took off down to the ice to get a few photos. Ravens and dogs, ignore the dog poop.
I'm a little disappointed that so far I'm the only person in Nunavut to have submitted a count. There is still two days left and right now your odds are pretty good for winning the book of bird photos I'm raffling off to those who submit a checklist. Hmm, perhaps I'd have a better response if I didn't offer a book of my photos.

I don’t know, it looks like there are some interesting birds in Dearborn.
