Down along the north side of Adam's Sound, cliffs that have horizontal strata, suddenly change to a series of blocks lifted at an angle. They are impressive looking from across the sound, but near them one realizes they are also stepped in a couple of layers.
It is most impressive geology, and a drop dead gorgeous area. See for yourself.
