Just a photo that I was playing with. Its been cropped, the grain cleaned up, and softened to try and salvage a pretty technically imperfect photo. The glamour shot.

Looks cuddly!
😀
While understand where the cuddly comment comes from Susannah, like most northerners I tend to shudder when people describe Polar Bears as cuddly. They are magnificent animals, but extremely dangerous ones.
clare.. simply magnificant.. even from Kingston !
Great Photo Claire! I wish I could see Polar Bears. Has been a busy summer for black Bears and Brown bears though!
Greg
fantastic photo. i moved to qikiqtarjuaq this year and, though i haven’t seen a polar bear yet, i’ve been warned not to wander outside of town.
oh, and one more thing…last year you wrote on my blog (www.pang-bound.blogspot.com)about a place to order coffee beans online. what was the website?
Kia ora Clare,
Magnificent photo. What power at ease.
Cheers,
Robb
Beautiful! I love your surroundings. I’m looking forward to seeing more. We have fallen in love with Alaska. Peace and continued beautiful things for you there.
Sincerely,
Diane
Thanks Suzanne.
Been getting good photos of the Greg?
Hi Tara. My sister-in-law lived there a few years and they quite enjoyed it. I got most of our beans from Equator.ca, free shipping if you have the recurring order. I also order some beans from other places as well (but all have shipping charges). The latest order was for some Kenyan Gethumbwini Peaberry from Has Bean coffee in britain. Very quick shipping, about a week.
Thanks Robb.
I’ve never been to Alaska Diane, hope to get there someday
Love it Clare!
Thanks Bonnie
