I’m quite tickled actually. With the exception of the painting or finishing of some trim, sills and closet shelves we’ve finished the list that Gary left for us while he took his Christmas Break. A good 10 days before he is due back. Now I’ve got to figure out what to do to keep myself and the crew busy for the next week and a half. We stalled putting in some for underlay flooring in the bedrooms downstairs because our flooring adhesive has mysteriously disappeared.
I managed to tile the downstairs bathrooms yesterday. A little quicker than I expected. When I went to borrow the linoleum roller (at noon) I found out that they needed it back by first thing this morning, so I needed to complete it all in one fell swoop. I started around 2 pm and by the time I finished it was 20 to midnight. I went in again this morning at 7:30 and rolled the floors one last time and then returned the roller before they even made it to their site. And the floors look pretty good too.
So, the challenge in the next bit is to figure out what can/needs to be done, that we won’t screw up with out Gary’s guidance. I can pick up some adhesive here, but that will only take care of a couple of days of work. Hmm…
