Our daughter was born at 11:09 am this morning in Iqaluit. Seven pounds eight ounces. Everyone is fine and we’re hoping she’ll arrive here on Monday’s plane.
No first name yet, but we’re working on it, we’re working on it.

Congratulations and blessings to all your family, Clare! I was up until 2 a.m. reading your blog from day 1 last night and delighting in, among others, your descriptions and photos of your now 3-year old son. And now he has a sister! I’ll look forward to more news from the proud father.
Clare, many congratulations–I had no idea you were expecting!
Congrats!
Congratulations, and blessings on the new arrival!
Hi Clare,
Congrats on your new addition to our family cuz! Thanks for keeping us up to date.
Love, Scott and Pam Greenlay
Welcome to my world Pam in Tucson, and thanks everyone for the congratulations.
We weren’t really expecting, in the true sense of the world. Hilary, like Travis, is a traditional or cultural adoption. Adoption is very common amongst the Inuit and you’d be hard pressed to find a family up here that hasn’t adopted in or out. We are lucky to have our children, and parents that are willing give us this great gift.
