It’s just hot! The past two or three days have been hovering around 13C and today it’s 14C. I just came in from sitting on the deck, soaking in the sun in shorts. If there was a breeze it would be right pleasant but it just seems hot now. This is by far the nicest day we’ve had over the last four summers.
To give you a bit of background on summer temperatures, normally we’d have summer temperatures in the 8-10C range. Usually it will make it up to 12 at least a couple of days. The all time record high here since they started keeping track (probably 1941 when the weather station went in) has been 18C.
The last three summers rarely made it up to 8C. So today, it seems pretty warm.

Are you, uh, POOPING me? Gotta tell you, if it never got below 8C at any time of year in a place where I lived, I’d be happy. I was actually pretty happy when we had 6 days here last week that were over 33C (yep, 92-97F).
What is it with you and POOP nuthatch? No this is the straight deal. I’m not sure I could survive a summer down south anymore.
You were wearing shorts, eh? I can’t wait until 13C feels hot to me. 🙂
P.S. Oh yeah, I meant to say that your blog brings record amounts of people to our blog. We have a site metre and there’s seriously 12-16 people everyday that come from here. So thank you!
