Yesterday the second cruise ship of the year arrived. The Orlova was the same ship I lead a tour for Quest on, six years ago. They were here for only part of the morning, but I got to see a friend of mine who has been an Expedition Leader for various tour companies for a number of years now. Brad and I had a very brief visit as he was shepherding his charges back on to the zodiacs to return to the ship. They actually hadn’t planned a stop at Arctic Bay but had to refuel at Nanisivik so they made the trip here.
As I type this our second sealift ship is dropping anchor. This ship should have our sealift order so I’ll be busy today getting our sealift room cleaned up, moving another freezer and probably later tonight hauling groceries back and forth.

Yep, saw a few boxes on a skid down there with your name on them as I was carting a few boxes around and trying not to step on any kids.
