Just because you have written some of the greatest poetry, doesn’t mean that you can recite it with any skill. However, Dylan Thomas… he rocks. I’m pretty sure he could have read the classifieds and turned them into something powerful.

Clare–Our local public radio station often plays Dylan Thomas’s ‘A Child’s Christmas in Wales’ as part of the holiday programming, and I had been especially looking forward to it, anticipating Christmas mostly as a chance to hear the recording of Thomas reading this story; alas, they didn’t play it. It sounds wonderful, especially in this season, to listen to the deepness of Dylan Thomas’s voice reciting poems.
He is a very good orator larry. The poetry collection, by the way, is the Caedmon Poetry Collection (on three CD’s) Yeats, TS Eliot, Auden, Sylvia Plath and many others.
