Laugh! Yea, occasionally one can find time to write after the kids are in school but while they are little? Pretty darn impossible!
No so true Clare. Heather Dohollau, a Gaelic born, but writing in French, poet, wrote her entire life while raising two or three kids on her own. And her works are incredible. Ruth Stone, one of my favorite Vermont poets, raised a household of daughters on her own, while writing and doing odd teaching jobs all over the USA… Elizabeth Smart, a Canadian writer, also wrote while raising her many kids. But come to mind, I’ve never heard of a … man doing that juggling act. Maybe you are a pioneer. Let’s hope you start a trend. Good luck with the writing, and I hope the data has been salvaged from the laptop that took a ‘kernal’ d(r)ive.
