Last week saw the arrival of our first sealift ship of the year, the fuel ship. The Tuvaq is on it’s first trip of the season here with a load of diesel/heating fuel for the next year. 
This is actually the second ship to arrive this year, a cruise ship visited in the fog a couple of weeks ago. Soon the two sealift ships will arrive with goods for another year. These are anxiously awaited this year as there is no pop left in town, and pop is like Crack Cocaine up here.
… and check the oil and clean the windshield also.

It is definately like crack! We ran out of pop in our house a while back, so we went and bought a 12 pack of diet pepsi from the store. It was a whopping $30!
Thirty dollars is quite a deal. Pop normally runs $2.00 a can here, but when the sealift supply runs out and they fly it in it goes up to $5 something a can.
