The past couple of days we had Dan Rather stay at the Bed and Breakfast. Mr. Rather and his crew was up doing a story on the Northwest Passage/Arctic Warming for his show Dan Rather Reports. He and his crew were a joy to have here, he is very much a gentleman and most interesting to talk to. Keep an eye on his show in the upcoming weeks and you may see Arctic Bay.

I love that in the picure you are in shirt-sleeves and he is bundled to the hilt.
That is so cool. I will have to remember to watch it, he is my favorite reporter along with Tom NBC News.
The picture is a little deceiving Karen, it was cold. I was in and out of the house for 15 minutes helping with baggage. He had to go and stand in the wind doing “bridges”. But then again I wouldn’t be in a parka this time of year unless I was going out on the land.
You will have to watch Ida, one of the people that he interviewed here in town was Mishak.

Wow, you get more celebraties than hollywood, so far you’ve got who? Tootoo? Rather? Auditor General of Canada dropped by some time ago? The Mayor of Arctic Bay? Wow! All you need is a Montreal Canadiens player….and you will have a complete list.
